Our facility is located in Irvine, CA, which is ranked #1 as the safest big city in the USA. Newport Beach is 15-minutes away from us, and we also have some great dining and shopping just around the corner.
Practice Overview
There is no practice like ours. We are a privately-owned general practice with 5 full-time, Fear Free Certified veterinarians. We are moving to a brand-new, state of the art veterinary hospital positioned in a great location to offer 24/7 emergency services. In addition to our emergency services, we provide amazing preventative care services, so you can build lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Providing life saving treatments under critical situations.
- Inpatient treatments with critical and post-operative patients.
- Preparing, assisting, and recovering in emergency surgeries.
- Taking histories, discussing treatment plans, and updating clients during emergencies.
- Assisting with transition of patient care to the next shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer a Registered Veterinary Technician; VTS in Emergency and Critical Care a plus.
- Prior experience with ventilators, Snyder ICU, endoscopy equipment, and laparoscopic procedures preferred but not required.
- Ability to rotate weekends.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking the initiative.
- Innovative and forward-thinking, willing to try new things.
- Demonstrated commitment to making a difference for people and pets.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
