Creating neuro-therapeutic medical experiences is a team effort and you thrive when working with others refining a core vision, building on abstract ideas, and finally focusing on concrete deliverables. You have a desire to take your skillset in game development and apply it to the cutting edge of clinical care and medical innovation.
MSquare Healthcare is looking for a C++ Game Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives on a do-it-yourself approach to development – if you think building your own graphics engine or physics solver sounds like a fun project, this is the place for you.
You will be tasked with making wide ranging improvements to our in-house engine and games, ranging from low level improvements and optimizations to new rendering functionality and game-level components. The engine runs and is supported across a range of platforms, including Windows, Linux, and iOS. It will be necessary to rework existing code as well as implement all-new systems and features. We frequently integrate all kinds of outside libraries, APIs, and SDKs and hacking together tests of new or experimental technology will be a normal part of the job.
MSquare is a startup and the ability to work independently and be self-directed is paramount. You will be given high level goals and directions, and tasked with designing and implementing the necessary solution. Problem solving and working through technical road blocks should be second nature to you, and experience implementing systems based on slides and whitepapers (e.g. GDC, SIGGRAPH) is a big plus.
Applicants are encouraged to include a cover letter and links to a personal portfolio or GitHub. We value diversity and love to hear about what makes an applicant unique. Applications go directly to the software lead.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience.
Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Math, or Physics a plus.
