Overview:
The Value Added Services (VAS) Administrator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor of VAS and Receiving. The VAS Administrator reviews all scheduled demand and works with Customer Service, Procurement and Shipping. The VAS Administrator reviews progress of the packaging and assembly process, confirms the completion of the production process and follows up with Inventory Control and Shipping to make material available as soon as possible and ensure any discrepancies are reported. The VAS Administrator focuses on KPI’s such as efficiencies in the packaging process and timeliness of material movements. Tools used include SAP, Business Warehouse, and Excel.

Core Responsibilities:
Monitors the packaging of materials and completion of all production and REM orders.
Coordinates product transfers for component parts and finished product .
Processes customer returns to include the following tasks: verification of all parts that come in, creation of delivery/post goods issue, movement of parts in SAP (Quality, Stock, or Scrap), repackaging of material if required, placing of material back to stock if required, etc.; additional steps will be needed depending on dispositioning at each step of the process.
Works closely with customer service, procurement and shipping to ensure material availability.

Additional Responsibilities:
Supports VAS employees and temps with QA tags/issues, short/over picks and BOM (Bill Of Material) issues; works with Inventory for resolution.
Supports the distribution of work flow to material handlers and water spider.
Assist with verification of orders to ensure orders are picked.
Ensures production/REM orders are processed accurately and on time.
Supports the introduction of new parts and first piece inspection in coordination with the Material Analyst.
Support the 5S program.
Support Continuous Improvement Projects (CBS).
Support Logistics KPIs with information needed that impacts Logistics Cost, Delivery Performance and Production efficiency.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience in logistics experience in warehouse or distribution center
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP knowledge
  • Microsoft knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of scheduling processes and quality processes
