Covenants Receptionist - SEASONAL (May through October 20 hours weekly)

The Covenants Receptionist is a seasonal role (20 hours weekly through October)who provides administrative support to Covenants department staff by receiving and assisting members from 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Fridayas needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming RA members and providing them with a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Directing members and answering their questions including researching, identifying and providing appropriate resources.
  • Scheduling follow up appointments (if required) and maintaining appointment calendar
  • Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member on a timely basis
  • Answering the telephone; taking and relaying messages; providing information to callers
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties in support of the Covenants department including filing, document preparation, data entry, scanning, etc.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and abide by established policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills -To perform this job successfully, an individual should have keyboarding skills and experience using Microsoft Office, database applications, and the Internet.

Other Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work; ability to maintain composure in difficult situations; and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hour
