A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
Be involved in the financial management of clients
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
Train, coach, and supervise staff
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of and/or proven record of success in business operations processes, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including in the following areas: - Accounting impacts of business processes related to Procure-to-Pay, Contract-to-Collections, Staff Reimbursement and Accounting Services; and, -Business processes and accounting transactions to drive continuous process improvement.

Demonstrates extensive level of ability and/or proven record of success, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including in the following areas: - Analyzing results, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and partnering with service managers to implement changes; - Collaborating with other departments to review process efficiencies and make recommendations for process improvement; - Liaising with service recipients as single point of contact for issue resolution; and, - Working closely with US IT, across Finance and vendors as needed.
