The Forklift Operator is responsible for keeping Production lines Running and and when necessary, loading and unloading shipments in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining safety standards. They will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment. Your Primary Responsibility will be to keep production lines running by ensuring lines are stocked with the required items and moving production units into the warehouse in an orderly structured manner .
Essential Duties:
- Keep Production Lines stocked and remove finished product to warehouse
- Load and unload shipments from trucks using hand trucks.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks using Clamp Trucks and forklifts
- Maintain a clean work environment by keeping warehouse, dock area, and parking lot neat and clean. This includes ensuring that workstations are free of trash and debris.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Salary will be based on skill level with ability to learn new skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
