We are currently looking for a A&E CAD Drafter II to use CAD software to develop complete and accurate architectural & engineering drawing sets for the Wireless industry.

Essential Functions:
Using computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop complete and accurate electronic working plans, elevations, details, charts, and/or revisions.
Create and revise detailed electronic (CAD) working plans, charts, and/or scale drawings for telecommunications projects from existing drawings, measurements, sketches, specifications, etc.
Prepare electronic architectural & engineering drawing sets, including (but not limited to) layouts, charts, detailed scale drawings, and equipment requirements from existing drawings, measurements, sketches, specifications, and standard layouts.
Working closely and efficiently with departmental contacts, project managers and project leads.
Printing, plotting, making copies of drawings and maintaining information regarding changes to a database.
Other duties as assigned. Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design, Architecture, Engineering or a related field with course work in computer-aided design or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years CAD experience in a professional office providing architectural, engineering or drafting services.
Understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with architecture and engineering terminology.
Minimum 2-3 years of wireless telecommunications work experience in the preparation of complete and accurate electronic drawing sets, working plans, charts, drawings, and/or revisions using CAD design equipment and software.

Excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge in AutoCAD 2011 or higher required. Revit experience a plus.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven time management and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Take direction well and can work with limited supervision.

Other: Works closely with A&E Project Managers, A&E Project Leads, Engineers, E.I.T.s, A&E Coordinator
