HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the Marketing team. As a Training Systems Manager, This position is accountable for managing the creation of world class educational opportunities with both Synchronous and A-Synchronous training systems using functional and technical analysis, implementation, customization and support.

In addition, this position is responsible for the full cycle of developing technology solutions for delivering training content and related materials This role partners with internal and external customers from all business functions to ensure available technology keeps pace with the needs of the learning community while meeting HYG standards and aligning with strategic direction.

The Training Systems Manager Will Provide the Following Key Accountabilities:
  • Implementing new learning technologies in HYG and our enterprise
  • Driving system and process improvements
  • Driving adoption and awareness campaigns
  • Training on our various learning systems
  • Managing change process for all training related implementations related to learning systems, updates, or changes to our training business processes
  • Coordination of simultaneous projects and the use of interactive technology to promote learning and ensure the success of the department business plan and future growth
  • Developing & delivering communications related to training events, reporting, LMS and other training technology solutions to its users and managers
  • Communicate directly with dealers via phone, email, constant contact, or other communication mechanisms to improve awareness of our programs, increase utilization of digital learning material, increase classroom attendance, and drive adoption of our various tools/programs
  • Oversee the implementation of dashboards, scorecards, and other relevant metrics required to drive utilization of our learning technologies and modules for HYG and our dealer enterprise
  • Ensure Business Development Plans, DOE, Slims and other Dealer Incentive Programs are properly linked to training reports
  • Support dealers in establishing proper report mechanisms so they can successfully track progress and drive performance
  • Research and resolve issues related to the LMS that are reported by end users
  • Act as the primary technology interface to manage day-to-day operations to ensure full functionality of the LMS environment for all users
  • Provide the data necessary to drive learning analytics
  • Perform routine systems maintenance and configuration administration
  • Assist in the design, review, testing, and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements
  • Develop LMS user procedures, guidelines and process documentation
  • Partner with internal project teams to ensure learning approaches will work within our technology offerings and represent established quality guidelines
  • This individual will need to differentiate traditional education needs from requests that are better accomplished through the use of new technology and Blended approaches, along with other areas of Human Performance Improvement
  • This position is accountable for leading a team to focus on the materials handling industry trends as well as HYG retail activities and regional field support activities
  • This individual will execute on a business case for project development

The Successful Training Systems Manager Will Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development to include a minimum of 5 years NetDimensions Talent Suite Administration preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work successfully with ambiguity
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Formal PMP Training preferred
  • Excellent conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Moderate proficiency in Articulate Studio 13, Captivate, Storyline2. Adobe Flash, HTML5, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier
  • High proficiency in NetDimensions Talent Suite
  • Working knowledge of SCORM / AICC publishing standards
