This position has the responsibility for ensuring that all orders are complete with regards to correct inventory and process time and are closed out in a timely manner.
In this role, you will Analyze and balance fixed and portable tank inventories to align with the Plant Accounting System (SAP), as well as calculate and record process order transactions and transfers for both the Production and Shipping departments.
Job Summary:

Calculate inventory moves within the plant by using the differences in tank levels and flow totalizers to reconcile tank inventories.

Record calculated inventory moves and processing times into SAP in the correct process order responsible for the changes or as a transfer order.

Analyze Process Order variances for record entry error correction, print and distribute copies of the orders, and close the orders in a timely fashion.

Maintain a list of open orders and investigate any that are not closed in a timely fashion.

Report on and/or communicate the following: missing/inaccurate information on daily transfer sheets, inaccurate or faulty tank gauge or totalizer readings from the plant process control system, yield reports that need to be investigated by a process engineer or chemist, other departments' actions that adversely affect the inventory and require correction.

Coordinate with physical inventory team to conduct quarterly and annual physical inventory counts, analyze discrepancies, and post required adjustments
