American children have been suffering from falling literacy rates with 1 in 3 children performing below their grade level. As an American owned company it is our goal at Air Reading is to make high-quality reading instruction accessible to every child. We primarily offer tutoring services to help American elementary schools improve the reading levels of children most in need of support.

Responsibilities
- Teach online reading classes using Zoom with groups of up to 4 students for 30 or 40 minute sessions.
- Must be available to teach during school and after school hours (most classes offered between 6 am to 5 pm PST, Monday through Friday)
- Curriculum is provided with clear teaching directions
- Provide regular feedback about students.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student success.
- Up to $12 for 30-min classes / $16 for 40-min classes
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher). Preferred in education, English, or other subjects indicative of expertise in reading and literacy
- Experience in teaching reading, ESL, and phonics in K–3
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus
- Proficient in using Zoom and other technologies for educational purposes.
- U.S. work authorization required
