General Responsibilities
The position will report to the Senior Accountant within Fleet Accounting located in the Hertz Administration Center in Oklahoma City. This person will be responsible for verifying proper payments for vehicle purchases and collections on receivables.

Collections of receivables related to vehicles purchase refunds and payment differences.
Approve and set up the pricing of vehicle purchase invoices.
Insures compliance with Hertz policies, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Assist in driving continuous process and procedural improvements.

The responsibility of this position includes:
Verify accurate pricing for vehicle purchase invoices (manual or automated).
Update accurate payment pricing based on current year contracts and clear invoice differences.
Collections on manufacturer vehicle and other receivables.
Identify and set up receivables in order to clear payment invoicing discrepancies.
Submit wire and check requests for fleet payables.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files
Assist in driving continuous process and procedural improvements.
Analyze and resolves unusual problems by determining alternate solutions.
Assist vendors with questions pertaining to the purchase of vehicles.
Set up and maintain vendor profiles for accuracy of banking instructions.
Assist in compiling audit documentation for audit requests.
Projects as assigned by Management.
Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background/Professional Experience:
Bachelor degree in Accounting Required
Collections and/or purchasing experience, a plus

Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access
IBM mainframe experience, a plus

Excellent at multi-task duties
Accounts Payable
Must be an aggressive self-starter and able to prioritize with minimal guidance from supervisor
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high
level of difficulty
