As a Manager, IDN and Account Marketing working on the US Hematology team, you will be empowered to drive the portfolio through management of branded and unbranded initiatives in support of demonstrating payer coverage, health economic value, and comparative clinical efficacy, in support driving formulary access and product selection, and a typical day will include:

POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The Manager, IDN and Account Marketing will work cross-functionally across the Brand marketing team, US Managed Markets, Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, and Field Sales for development and execution of programs and collateral development.
The Manager will lead CMLR initiatives (Materials, Re-Approvals, & Updates to Existing Resources)
The Manager shares responsibility for Advertising & Promotions (A&P) expense targets and is responsible for managing the budget for his/her areas of accountability, including budget phasing, tracking and ongoing oversight.
A successful candidate will assist in market research for respective initiatives, analysis of data from research for strategic decision making, and insights in support of advancing the Hematology portfolio within specialized hemophilia treatment centers, health systems and integrated delivery networks (IDNs), specialty pharmacies and distribution partners, and health care providers.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree required
Generally, has 4-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
2+ years of experience in marketing required
Field sales experience preferred
Experience in marketing to strategic customers preferred (e.g., hospitals, specialty or retail pharmacies, wholesalers)
Specialty biologics experience and/or payer marketing experience highly preferred
Experience in development and execution of promotional collateral with the ability to articulate the value of the promotional materials to the sales organization
Ability to leverage internal and external “voice of the customer” to anticipate and identify product and/or program needs
Experience in payer/IDN messaging and aligning a communication strategy with branded and unbranded messaging
Ability to apply Competitive Intelligence learnings into Marketing Plans, develop and execute tactics to address competitive threats
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and proven ability to advance and drive tactics in a matrix organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Analytical skills, comfort with data
Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal skills and excellent communication across functions, organizational levels and cultures to help deliver business results
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute
Flexible and team-work oriented
Strong familiarity with regulatory A&P approval processes

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Approximately 10-20% travel within the United States
