Easton Porter Group seeks a dynamic graphic design dynamo to join our growing marketing team. This position will design and implement Easton Porter Group's visual marketing strategy. Administration includes content strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and helping to cultivate leads and sales for Easton Porter’s portfolio of properties. Easton Porter Group is seeking a highly motivated and proven creative manager to provide print and digital design solutions that have high visual impact and help present our brand to customers in a breakthrough way. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in translating brand messages into powerful visual designs and will demonstrate creative flair and a professional approach to feedback, time, costs, and deadlines.
Essential Functions: The core function of this role is to determine the best ways for Easton Porter to visually represent our company’s identity in terms of developing content including, but not limited to, social media, graphic design, photography, video production, and blogging. The key roles of this position are defined by creative responsibilities and social media responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, such as print materials for ads, menu layout design, brochures, digital galleries, etc.
Provide support in creative direction for the entire line of services and programs.
Work with managers to develop, write copy, and implement concepts.
Contribute to the development of creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and advance our brand strategy.
Work in tandem with the Brand + Content Manager to develop and execute visual campaigns across Easton Porter Group social media, website, video and print channels
Manage styling, visual direction + photographers for quarterly photoshoots
Collaborate with third party agencies: Copywriters, branding agencies + web design partners to ensure proper brand visuals are represented on all platforms
Ideating new creative ways to express our brands: logo modification, Insta Story templates, exploring new creative menu design tactics, etc
Constant discovery of new creative ways to express brand messages
Approximately 20% time spent on New Business development projects
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems (ie: Mailchimp) and user interface design, as well as industry best practices.
Needs a working knowledge of user experience design, brand development, e-commerce, and design-based thinking.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in both written and video formats.
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
Experience with graphic design software platforms including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience with video editing.
Print and web design capabilities: must know how to design for and work in both media for integrated campaigns.
Applies best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping.
Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side. Able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
Possesses functional knowledge experience with WordPress and other content management systems including website design and basic coding.
Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or business.
3-5 years brand or agency marketing experience.
Is a Team Player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other associates when necessary (ie: in content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
Ability to manage projects from concept to completion and able to work effectively on multiple priorities with strict deliverable deadlines.
Must be able to work well with others and take directives as needed in order to maintain a positive environment of teamwork.
Some working knowledge of the hospitality and specifically the hotel + restaurant industry.
