About the job
The gTech Communications team supports internal and executive communications, as well as employee engagement, visual design, video production and community building for the gTech organization. It’s up to the Communications team, along with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, to inform, connect, and inspire the organization to keep doing amazing things for Google and our customers.
As the gTech Communications and Community Engagement Manager, you'll inform, engage, and connect gTech’ers through clear, concise, and compassionate communications, event design, and execution. You’ll partner with gTech leadership, HR, and Go-To-Market teams on marketing cross-gTech programs and initiatives and driving engagement. You’ll identify, build, and strengthen communities across gTech with the goal of creating a strong network of gTech’ers in similar roles, enabling them to collaborate and lead across organizational boundaries.
gTech is a global support and operations team, with a mission to delight our customers with care so good, it’s got to be Google. Our team is the face of Google to most of our customers, and we want their Google support experience to set new standards - just like Google’s products do. Our team cares for customers by incubating new Google products, solving problems by scaling solutions globally, and sharing user feedback with internal teams to influence product development. We support a wide variety of products, from ads to Pixel and just about everything in between.
Create and execute communications strategies in support of cross-gTech programming in collaboration with HR, Go-to-Market, and gTech partners.
Manage several projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver strategically sound, provocative, memorable communications and experiences.
Build relationships with vendors, internal team members, and a wide range of stakeholders across Google to manage and deliver incredible events.
Identify, build, and strengthen communities across critical groups like Administrative Business Partners, Directors, and Leaders.
Influence senior leaders and managers to set a consistent tone at the top and reinforce cultural messages and programs.
