Busy Mechanical Construction company looking for an energized and motivated individual for the position of Project Superintendent to join our team. Oversee all aspects of project construction and field coordination. Ideal candidate will have a 5+ years experience in construction within the Public/Commercial industry and 3+ years of experience in Construction Mechanical HVAC trades, both air side (ducts) and water side (piping).
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to closeout
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Onsite coordination with GC as well as with other trades
Interface with project GC, owners, inspectors, other contractors, architects, engineers, etc...
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Construction on Public / Commercial Projects
Previous experience in Mechanical HVAC trades, duct and pipe installation
Must have driver’s license, reliable car, OSHA 30 Construction, and SST Supervisor card.
Previous experience with public agencies such as NYCSCA, NYCHA, NYCDDC, DASNY, MTA, PANYNJ, etc... (A Plus)
Strong leadership qualities
Strong coordination, communication, and resource planning skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Familiarity with construction management software (A Plus)
Salary commensurate with experience.
