Position Summary...
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
What you'll do...
Provides customer service and executes communications in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by applying general provisions of benefits plan guidelines and of IRS Section 125 and 409A, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, USERRA, and other state and federal regulations specific to the benefits area that are required to answer customer questions and provide customer service.
Provides customer service on issues for plans by handling incoming and outgoing correspondence to various internal and external customers; following up with concerns and challenges; providing technical support on benefits systems and websites; providing benefits education; researching complex benefits questions and issues to resolve problems; communicating systems problems and resolution proposals to senior leadership and third-party administrators (TPAs) to resolve problems; keying online enrollments for associates; and serving as a liaison between Home Office departments, third-party administrators (TPAs), and various internal and external customers to resolve issues and concerns.
Conducts work on premium payment accounts by entering data into accounts; reviewing incoming premium payments from associates, dependents, and providers of service; reviewing participant accounts to determine potential data entry or system errors; and monitoring internal system to ensure accurate payments and handling by third-party administrators (TPAs).
