PET Emergency Treatment is hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians and experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our team in adventurous Alaska!

As a Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you will be responsible for providing our clients with a fantastic experience as well as responsible for providing emergency nursing care to patients through compliance with the attending doctor's orders. On a daily basis, you will triage patients, calculate medical dosages and administer medications, run in-house lab work, place tubes and catheters, monitor and ensure patients' comfort, update clients on their pet's progress, and perform a variety of other tasks. This requires solid technical skills.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Experience working in the veterinary field as a technician or assistant.
  • Preferred emergency or other specialty small animal care experience.
  • CVT or LVT preferred.
  • Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above.
