JOB SUMMARY
Codaray Construction is seeking a Project Manager for the Hattiesburg, MS Office. The position will primarily be responsible for the management and coordination of multiple commercial construction projects, and will communicate directly with the Project Superintendent and subcontractors on a routine basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating the initial project schedule and making updates monthly
- Buyout process of subcontracts and purchase orders after a project has been assigned
- Creating the cost budget and schedule of values
- Preparing pay applications monthly
- Coordinating and conducting all project meetings such as OAC and Coordination
- Approving vendor bills electronically for project costs
- Completing monthly project forecast
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSBA degree is preferred, but not required
- 4+ Years of project management experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction software utilized by the company
- Ability to lead team members in an effective yet positive manner
- Ability to interpret construction documents
- Self‐motivated and ability to adapt to assigned tasks
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Prior experience as a Project Manager on large commercial construction projects.
