The SEO/PPC Marketing Specialist will contribute to the ongoing deployment of the Company’s digital marketing strategy, reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing with the day-to-day deliverables. This role will focus on developing and managing paid search and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to drive relevant website traffic, leads and meet business goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, execute and manage paid advertising campaigns, strategies and initiatives on search (Google/Bing) and social networks.
Create paid search ad copy, conduct keyword research and development and manage budgets.
Support SEM campaigns by working closely with marketing team and agency partner.
Provide optimization strategies for search engine ranking improvement by analyzing website traffic.
Build and maintain project management processes that streamline SEM initiatives.
Increase performance by monitoring results on a daily basis, optimizing bids and keywords as well as identifying campaign expansion and testing opportunities.
Provide ongoing support of all SEM initiatives including reporting (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc), analysis and optimization recommendations.
Monitor campaign results, analyze performance and key metrics, and suggest changes that will optimize click-through, cost-per-click, cost-per-acquisition, and conversion rates.
Develop strategies to increase site traffic and digital presence, organic page rank and visitor retention through use of various SEO/SEM techniques (keyword analysis, link building, etc.).
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Assist with the maintenance of Company’s websites and social media accounts.
Assist with execution of marketing campaigns across all digital channels—email, web, social media and paid search—to attract qualified audiences and engage prospects for increased conversions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent required.
3+ years of tactical and strategic experience in SEM and PPC.
Certified in Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
Experience gathering and reporting metrics on marketing effort effectiveness.
Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to brand business objectives.
Strong writing and communications skills.
Travel requirement: less than 10%.
Experience with Amazon Marketing Services or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Ad Studio.
Experience managing third-party vendors.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS.
Certified in HubSpot Inbound Marketing.
