Project Management Responsibilities
Perform Project Management and Integration activities to lead a team, or in some instances multiple teams, in identifying and resolving engineering, manufacturing, and process issues for an Industry leading military Aero structures company
Support cross functional teams across multiple departments to ensure all project requirements are being met and risk mitigations plans are in place.
Communicate both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders; strong verbal, written and presentation skills are necessary.
Monitor project budget and Earned Value based on the schedule, and make decisions to improve lead times and reduce costs.
Drive milestones to closure. Work with a schedule integrator to define, status, and drive schedule compliance
Collaborate with resource managers internally and externally to staff projects
Develop innovative ideas to improve efficiency on customer products / processes. Identify problems and opportunities for improvement – take ownership over implementation
Work in a fast-paced, team environment to meet quick deadlines
Work under the guidance of experienced project managers.

3-6+ years of experience in a Project Lead and/or Integration Role, preferably in an Aerospace and/or Manufacturing environment
BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
“Project Management 101” experience including planning, finances, tracking, reporting, and driving milestones required
Must understand standard project management tools (such as a Gantt charts)
Working knowledge of EVMS metrics required, demonstrated proficiency preferred
PMP certification desired
Exposure to Agile methodology (sprints, scrum, etc.)
Proficiency with MS-Office Suite tools and creation of PowerPoint documents.
Experience in technical writing and conducting formal presentations
Understanding of Materials and Manufacturing processes used in aerospace components. Composites experience is a plus.
Ability to represent QuEST and QuEST’s customers during interaction with suppliers / vendors
Ability to manage the customers’ perceptions and resources, and showcase QuEST’s achievements
