In this position, you will work with an engaged, creative and agile team working on our next generation oscilloscope products including Serial Communication and Protocols. You will drive early engagement with customers, and be the bridge between Engineering and Marketing to deliver the highest customer value in incremental Build-Measure-Learn cycles. As a key member of the software development team you will drive continuous process improvement, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the execution of our product strategy by working closely with your scrum team, and the product manager. You will collaborate, identify and implement creative ways to break down user needs to accelerate product implementation. You will conduct monthly reviews with management/technical leaders; measure, set targets and specific goals for improving the team’s deliverables and drive customer value using agile best practices.
Represent the customer to deliver an exceptional user experience - through the delivery of Serial Bus Protocols
Direct experience working closely with customers to specify a product or to define requirements
Collaborate with product manager to negotiate the Minimum Awesome Product
Define the product Stories and Epics; Prioritize features according to market value
Enable a solid understanding of customer need across the team and provide technical leadership as needed
Demonstrable experience creating User stories and Acceptance Criteria balancing trade-offs and risks to meet product requirements
Be aware of overall technical debt and balance against customer need to promote maintainable and scalable products
Provide specific options/improvements for building prototypes to enable customer feedback if a gap exists in terms of understanding customer need
Drive best practices to help teams deliver best in class
Drive leverage and reuse across platforms with respect to frameworks and existing bus infrastructure
Contribute to our strategic technology/product direction and planning
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
The Product Owner is accountable for delivering highest customer value while meeting business objectives, and meets the following:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
Minimum of 4-6 year’s hands on experience in software development with a proven track record in all phases of the software development life cycle
Experience working on Agile teams and supporting multiple projects
Certified Scrum Master
Strong leadership skills, including proven abilities in coaching and conflict resolution
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Successful experience working as a Scrum Master and Product Owner for 3+ years
A Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
Knowledge of the test and measurement industry, customers and products
Experience using/developing decoders, triggers specifically for Serial Communication
Participating in competitive analysis and driving product strategy and prioritization
Experience piloting launch of beta products/features by building cross functional partnerships across the organization
Proactive working style with the ability to adapt to change and make decisions
Analytical and problem solving skills - a can-do, roll up your sleeves attitude.
Proficient with Agile Development Management Tools such as, Jira, Confluence.
