Full Job Description
Responsible for performing change management activities in order to meet business goals. As a resource assigned to 1-3 initiatives at any given time, responsible for implementing change management methodologies consistent with the organization’s strategy. Applies processes and tools required and enables other professionals to use them.
Provides tactical support to change management initiatives, such as new systems, procedures or organizational practices. Collaborates with business operations leadership, senior change management staff, communications, training, HR, IT and OD Specialists in the formulation and execution of plans and activities to support project implementation.
Puts into action a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts. Under the direction of the Group Manager, Change Management executes and measures a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including but not limited to communication plan, sponsor/stakeholder plans, and business readiness and measurement plan.
Supports change management strategies and plans. For example, communicates with and engages stakeholders, and measures readiness, adoption, and proficiency of target audiences. Collaborates with business unit, training, communications, and organization design resources to implement plans. Tracks and reports progress against plans.
Maintains and applies tools, techniques and approaches to managing change throughout various levels of the organization. Applies change model and framework to support complex changes across large, medium and low impact programs.
Identifies potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develops specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. Identifies resistance and performance gaps and works to develop and implement action plans to correct.
Escalates issues to Group Manager for resolution as needed.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year experience with change management (including internships) or a related field (Org Design/Effectiveness, Training, Communications, Project Management, etc.) or HS Diploma/ GED and at least 4 years of experience with change management or a related field (Org Design/Effectiveness, Training, Communications, Project Management, etc.).
Experience with change management principles and methodologies (process redesign, job/role/organization design, marketing or communication, training/performance support, and/or organizational readiness)
Experience building and implementing change management tools and documents including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement strategies, communications plans, training strategies, and measurement of change readiness and adoption to widely varied audiences.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Experience with project management (planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
