The CIO Intern, will work closely with our Chief Information Officer researching items of interest and performing operational and financial analyses. This internship will work directly with our CIO who will direct your projects and involve you in key meetings. By the conclusion of your internship, you will have a good understanding of the importance of technology and data within banking. Our 2018 summer internship program runs from June 3rd through August 9th. In addition to your work with the CIO, you will also participate in fun networking events, weekly executive lunch panel discussions, a group project, and interact with other interns from around the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project and duties will include assisting with the following.
Research emerging technologies within FinTech for potential application with retail and commercial banking.
Perform market survey of potential solutions for identified enterprise wide technology needs.
Perform market survey of potential alternative solutions to technologies nearing end of life.
Develop financial models analyzing multiple alternative solutions and IT deployment models.
Develop operational model monitoring key vendor performance.
Ability to research, read, analyze and interpret documents, technical procedures and regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
Strong communication skills both verbally and in written form.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to solve practical problems.
Experience with MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or a related field with an interest in project management – 3.2 GPA or higher.
