Behavioral Health Response - Keene, NH3.0

Position Summary:
The TeleED Clinician is responsible for completing a behavioral health level of care assessment and provide treatment recommendations for individuals who present to a hospital emergency department with mental health/substance use concerns. This is a remote position which allows you to work from home. Must be available during designated hours to provide immediate virtual clinical assessment for two hospital emergency departments in New Hampshire. Must have space for conducting assessments that maintains HIPAA & HITRUST compliancy.

Job Responsibilities:
Responds to requests to do virtual assessment within five minutes of contact from the contact center. Must be ready to complete assessment within sixty minutes from time of contact
Conducts program specific screening and evaluation, and formulates diagnosis in accordance with the most current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
Conducts assessments in compliance with BHR's policies.
Performs high quality clinical assessments with excellent customer service skills. Documentation is written in a proficient and professional manner. Uses sound clinical judgment and develops an individualized, comprehensive treatment plan to assist client in establishing necessary mental health services.
Confers with emergency department staff to convey treatment recommendations.
Complete level of care assessment and documentation within our response benchmarks.
Must work well individually and with co-workers as part of a team. Must be flexible with work hours and special requests from managers.
Complete Involuntary Emergency Admissions (IEA) when needed.
Must be available to testify at all IEA hearings.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology.
Licensed in the State of New Hampshire (Licensed Independent Social Worker LICSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT, Licensed Mental Health Counselor LCMHC)
Experience completing lethality screenings, developing safe plan and discharge planning.
Ability to write clinical documentation, conduct mental health assessments and develop client treatment plans.
Experience working within multiple systems, software, programs.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Involuntary Emergency Admission process.
Self-sufficient, solution focused employee.
Hospital emergency department experience preferred.
