As a Solution Monitoring Architect with Honeywell Intelligrated, this is your opportunity to:

Exercise you strong decision-making skills in terms of selecting and implementing scalable monitoring solutions
Work with Big Data experts and solution architects to integrate various monitoring solution within a cloud and on-premise real-time system
Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through monitoring metrics and data integration
Working as a member of a design, build and test agile team continuously releasing new updates
Mentoring people whether or not they are on your team

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field is an added plus
5+ years of experience in Engineering and IT fields with a focus on monitoring and integration
5+ years of experience in strategic planning, standards, procedures, and governance
5+ years of experience manage multiple vendors with excellent partnership collaboration and long-term enterprise strategy
3+ years of experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, Nagios, Datadog, DynaTrace, Chef, and Grafana
Experience in applications and infrastructure design, delivery & operation
Experience monitoring opensource software and microservices
Ability to define the problem/issue, root cause analysis, charter and resource corrective and preventive problem solving to create highly robust solutions which run 24x7 with 0 down time
Strong technical capabilities in contemporary software driven hardware and software as services
1+ year of hands on experience in implementing and using CI/CD framework technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo
Strong experience in programming languages and latest technologies such C#.NET, Java, JavaScript frameworks, and python
3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team

Demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL / NoSQL)
JavaScript and Java and / or C# development experience
Experience with RESTful Web Service Design
Experience with Azure, AWS or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments
