Aptive is seeking a full time Sr. Data Analyst to join our team. The Sr. Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing customer data sets to identify trends, quantify results and understand correlations that can be used to recommend changes in investments, processes or engagements that improve future outcomes. The Sr. Data Analyst will lead collection, transformation and analysis of data from different sources including surveys, web advertising, paid media, contact center data and other employee and external customer touch points. Experience using quantitative and statistical methods to interpret, aggregate and categorize data is critical. Particular experience performing data analysis to improve efficiency of communication across multiple channels, develop better working content and enrich digital consumer experiences is a key objective. The Sr. Data Analyst will lead efforts to build a robust data strategy, and will maintain and improve data management activities across programs. In addition to quantitative analysis the role will also focus on overall marketing and outreach effectiveness by leading market mix modelling, integrating secondary data and performing benchmarking of performance vs category/competitors. Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain, join, scrub, explore, model, interpret and synthesize large datasets
Transform and manipulate large datasets to suit the desired analysis
Create and present clear oral and written reports on the findings
Apply data analysis techniques to understand current operations data and have the ability to present and brief those results to leadership.
Use Microsoft Excel, Tableau, R, SPSS for analysis, chart creation, and insight development
Use Google Analytics, Sprout, and other web and social media tools to understand digital experience
Support efforts to define, implement and manage "one single view" of customers through data technology
Ensure consistent approach to data is applied in all touchpoints, website, CRM, call center, surveys etc.
Define and apply the right business rules and data mgt principles for all applications or personalized communications.
Connect internal data sources with 3rd party data sets to enrich understanding
Oversee data modeling and scoring across programs, project and customer agency
BS Degree in related technical fields (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce business analytics or Einstein
Five or more years of experience developing data analysis strategies and leading analytics or business intelligence efforts
Five or more years of experience using Java, R, Python, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, Salesforce for data analysis and business intelligence reporting
Conceptual understanding of – and/or prior experiences related to – data profiling, fuzzy matching, entity resolution, synthetic data and signal detection theory (specifically with respect to SD theory: designing and improving upon systems that monitor, minimize, and balance false positive and false negative outcomes)
Experience working with the Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred
