Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Seattle, WA to partner with business teams to gather requirements, analyze and come up with tactical solutions to implement those requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: participate in planning sessions with solution design consultants, define scope and create design documents; develop algorithms according to business requirements using multiple technologies, convert them into code and deploy them to production; coordinate with different teams to perform build, deployment, issue triage, testing support and production go live support; develop code using Informatica PowerCenter (Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager), and Unix Scripts design documents; create Splunk Database Connects, Splunk Database Inputs, Splunk forwarder Bundles using Splunk tool for system monitoring and reconciliation; use the Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig) and Advanced Analytics (Python, Spark) build custom Data Pipelines in Python and Scala that clean, transform and aggregate data from many different sources; suggest ideas for improving system performance and generate timely performance reports and review with business; develop Robotic Process Automation bots using IBM Blue prism to augment relevant processes, test and deploy them to production; work with highly distributed teams, including interaction with the open source communities; and handle Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery automation tooling and other DevOps concepts.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Associate Manager/Team Lead, IT Consultant, Software Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 3 years of experience in source/build systems such as GIT, GITflow, Gerrit and Jenkins; 5 years of experience developing and writing Informatica ETL (Extract Transform Load) conversion routines to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information; 5 years of experience writing, updating, and maintaining computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs including tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment; 5 years of experience performing systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software by using Informatica ETL, Data modeling, or Big Data (Hadoop/Hive); and 5 years of experience compiling and writing documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
