The YMCA Camp Potawotami is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual interested in serving this summer as a Media Specialist.
The Media Specialist is responsible for capturing the magic of summer in still photos and videos. They will visit all of the camp areas several times per day to capture images and short videos.
They will provide daily uploads to private Smug Mug pages for parents viewing as well as catalog all media for current and future marketing use. This person may also be asked to help in other areas of camp.
This fun and safe camping program provides week-long overnight experiences for students ages 6 thru 16.
The position requires maturity, creativity, and a strong commitment to the YMCA mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
PAY RATE DETAILS
Pay: $260 per week plus room and board.
Dates: from May 30 2020 through July 17 2020

Must be at least 19 years of age.
At least one year of college is strongly preferred.
At least one year of working with children and/or youth in a resident camp is preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in digital media knowledge and application.
Willing and able to receive training in order to provide a safe and fulfilling summer camp experience
Able to fulfill all demands in spirit, mind, and body as a summer resident camp counselor
Positive, service-oriented attitude serving diverse groups of campers in regard to age, ethnicity, gender, race, economic status, religion, etc.
