Summary

The Executive Director of Online Operations leads a unique online service structure in which enrollment, success coaching, financial services, and instructional delivery are integrated into a single service center tiered with personnel badged for service area and depth of knowledge. Online programming managed under this system include graduate, undergraduate and certificate in general areas of business, technology, and strategic security. The Executive Director of Online Operations leads and directs to achieve the goals of effectiveness, efficiency, and growth in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the university.

Minimum Qualifications

The Executive Director of Online Operations must satisfy the following minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required, Doctoral preferred; and
  • At least ten years of progressively successful operations management and/or leadership; executive leadership in online operations preferred.

Skills and Attributes

The Executive Director of Online Operations must possess the following skills and attributes: proven ability to lead, manage, and grow all aspects of university operations; excellent oral and written communications skills required.

Required Work Hours

A minimum of forty hours per week, plus other hours as may be necessary to complete job duties. A combination of day, evening, and weekend hours is required.

Reporting and Supervisory Responsibilities

  • The Executive Director of Online Operations reports to the President/CEO and/or his designee.
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities for the following:
  • Executive Director of Enrollment
  • Executive Director of Financial Services
  • Executive Director of Student Success
  • Executive Director of Instructional Service Quality
  • Other supervisory and support staff as applicable.

Physical Requirements

The Executive Director of Online Operations must be able to speak, hear, see, write, use a keyboard and telephone touchpad, reach, and bend.

Travel

Travel between two online locations, including airline travel and overnight stays, may be required.
