Edgewater is currently seeking an Identity and Access Management Engineer who has experience ensuring information security aligns with organization security requirements and guidelines. This is a unique opportunity to help us strengthen, improve and support our federal customer's security posture and management, while also helping Edgewater to continue to shape, develop and mature our cybersecurity culture and center of excellence. This customer is located in the Washington DC area.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience developing and deploying Identity and Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM) solutions
Strong understandings of AAA Authentication, Authorization and Accounting principles
Knowledge of Active Directory and/or LDAP management, configuration or design, PKI, SSO across multiple domains, 2FA via PIV, or CAC and scripting and coding
Exposure and/or experience with IAM tools like CyberArk, OneIdentity, CA PAM, Centrify, Sailpoint, BeyondTrust and/or homegrown Access Management solutions
Experience must be hands on, technical work, while also being able to document configurations.
Experience with PKI and secure communication preferred.
Responsible for the implementation and development of the IT security.
Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment.
Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security.
Requirements and/or Desired Experience:
Maintain at least one current professional certification: Any SANS GIAC Security certification (Administration, Software, Forensics, or GSE Expert), ISC2 CISSP, or any security systems vendor administration-level certifications
At least 3 years working in cyber security
3+ years of experience with implementing IAM tools in an enterprise environment
3+ years of experience with collaborating with clients to deliver results
Experience with supporting IAM in a Cloud environment, including Azure and AWS
Experience with SQL database administration or management
Experience with an SIEM tool, including Splunk or the ELK stack preferred
Experience with authoring Cybersecurity guidance, including policies, operating procedures, strategies, and whitepapers
Experience with implementing PKI and PIV standards
Must be a United States Citizen
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or MS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science (cyber security focus a plus).
