Administrative Services Specialist – Human Services

Job Overview:

Performs intermediate to advanced paraprofessional technical and administrative work overseeing and managing a variety of office, financial, and administrative functions. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting with budgeting and coordinating purchasing processes for capital and operating budgets; conducting financial analytical work using a variety of Department related record management systems; assisting with fund development; assisting with grants management; assisting with volunteer management; processing applications for eligibility based town programs; coordinating the Fee Waiver Program; preparing and maintaining payroll and related records and files; preparing and maintaining files and reports; performs related work as required. Work is performed under general supervision. Position reports to the Director of Human Services or his/her designee.

Qualifications:

An associate’s degree with major course work in public administration, business administration or related field is required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with fund development, grants/financial management and customer service are highly desirable. Consideration may be given to equivalent experience and training.

Salary (7/1/18):

Salary Grade 15 $45,419- $57,240 per year
