Wittenberg University is seeking a Program & Administrative Coordinator for the COMPASS: Sweet Success Center. This is a 12-month, non-exempt-level position. This position supports and coordinates activities for the COMPASS: Sweet Success Center (meetings, programs, events), department files, records, expenditure reports, etc. This position also manages administrative processes to ensure efficient and student-centered operations of COMPASS. Primary areas of support include Accessibility Services, Commuter Students, First-Generation Student Programs, Orientation, Parent and Family Programs, Post-Generation Adult Students, Student Success and Retention, Transfer Students, and Welcome Week.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Support and coordinate, as directed by program leads, processes including but not limited to the Board of Academic Standards, Accessibility Services, Orientation, Welcome Week, Tutoring, parent communication, and other initiatives.
Coordinate and assist with the accommodated testing process including but not limited to the scheduling of exams, proctor schedule, proctoring of exams, and liaising with faculty on submission of materials for testing.
Coordinate, manage, maintain and communicate scheduling for COMPASS staff including but not limited to student meetings and committee meetings.
Support the student employment program including but not limited to departmental and program reports and completion of student on-boarding paperwork and processes.
Organize, maintain and manage various office functions including but not limited to incoming and outgoing correspondence, office supplies, schedules, and meeting minutes as needed.
Coordinate and support maintenance of related budgets, purchasing cards and applicable reports for assigned departments.
Maintain a student-centered, supportive environment.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
A bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years of work experience are required.
Competency and experience using Microsoft Office software with the ability and desire to learn additional software applications as necessary. Experience using Ellucian Colleague strongly preferred.
Detail and customer service oriented.
Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Routinely move and transport equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
Ability to utilize computer for extended periods (typically an 8 hour work day).
Night and weekend work may be required
