Job Description: Senior Advisor, Technical Program Manager
Responsible for leading multiple programs concurrently to drive process, operations, and strategy into our Serviceability Engineering and Dell Technology labs teams. This role is responsible for enabling the engineering, testing and labs teams to drive serviceability capabilities in to the product roadmap; measure success factors in our business and represent efficiencies in process. The Program Manager leads the execution of projects/programs which may include interaction with the cross-functional product organizations to communicate organizational information, strategies, capabilities etc. to aide product improvements. Works with the serviceability engineering team to establish operational consistency, process improvements and predictable planning. This program manager will need to have ability to work globally to align, standardize and drive process, execution and adoption of transformational activities.
Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Drives a core team to deliver process and operational improvement initiatives that align to overall Serviceability strategy.
Leads cross-functional, Worldwide team(s), kicks off programs, establishes schedules and drives meetings. Team members can include Services Engineering, Supportability Engineering, Software Enablement, Product Operations, Marketing, Procurement, Serviceability Operations, Finance, etc.
Presents and Communicates status to the business leaders globally.
Leads multiple programs of medium complexity (technology, operational, organizationally).
Implements change as directed by the Serviceability Engineering operations and SW Enablement team process and recommends process improvements
Works with Operations and SW Enablement team; as well as executive leadership to establish quality and customer experience programs to align with Services Engineering goals.
Drives the creation, review and approval of the Program/Project Charter and plan.
