Job Description:
S&S Social is seeking a highly skilled and creative Prop Stylist to join our team and contribute to our monthly content shoots. In this role, you will be responsible for curating and designing visually stunning scenes that capture the essence of each brand we represent. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the distinct look and feel of each brand is accurately and consistently portrayed across all content.
About the Brands:
- Brand A: Elegant & Sophisticated - This brand exudes elegance, richness, and sophistication. Think deep reds, golds, and a touch of French flair. Targeting upscale urban women who appreciate the finer things in life. We already have a look and feel for this brand, we just need you to understand the vision and help us set up each scene!
- Brand B: Rustic & Authentic - Embracing the charm of a farm-style kitchen, this brand evokes a rustic, farm-like atmosphere. Utilizing elements like hay bales, milk cartons, and wooden crates, it appeals to an audience seeking authenticity. We also have a set look and feel set for this brand, we just need someone who can apply the same branding and adjust as needed on set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scene Creation: For this specific content shoot, you will be tasked with creating a total of six (6) unique scenes. Your work will directly impact the visual storytelling and brand identity portrayed in our content.
- Brand A: Elegant & Sophisticated
- For Brand A, you will design five (5) distinct scenes that share a cohesive, elegant, and sophisticated look. While the overall feel and style of the scenes are already established, your expertise will be required to make minor adjustments that add variety and visual interest. This includes the careful placement of food and props, ensuring that each scene remains visually captivating while aligning with the brand’s identity.
- Brand B: Rustic & Authentic
- You will create one (1) scene that embodies the rustic and authentic feel of Brand B. This scene will remain consistent throughout the shoot, with your primary responsibility being to ensure the perfect bottle and cocktail/drink placement. The goal is to maintain the established look of the brand while highlighting the products in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our content team to understand the vision for each brand and scene.
- Set up and style scenes according to provided shots list and AI-generated images.
- Collaborate with the photographer and videographer to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
- Maintain organization and efficiency during content shoots, keeping within the allotted timeframe.
- Adapt quickly to changes and provide creative solutions on the fly.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in every aspect of prop styling.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food and drink prop styling.
- Ability to interpret and execute on specific brand aesthetics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs.
- Must be able to commute to our studio in Manhattan, New York.
