Many people ask: What is a DSP?
In short, it is someone who provides supports and services to people with disabilities.
But what does a DSP really do?
A DSP spends their days with artists, musicians, athletes, outdoorsman, dancers, authors, comedians, and many other extremely talented and amazing people. DSP’s have the privilege of being invited to special Olympics, tournaments, sporting events, the movies, dance parties, and out to eat. DSP’s spend their night’s playing card games, playing music, having makeovers, and trying new adventures. Not only that, but a DSP also has the privilege of being asked to be a voice to advocate for the needs of those who don’t always have the voice or the power to do so.
