WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

ORR Corporation formed from the trunk of Clark Orr Sr.’s car when he began selling safety equipment almost 70 years ago. JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking experienced, dependable and self-motivated individuals to work in our distribution center. This position requires accurate receiving, picking/packing of orders for shipment, proper labeling, quality control of inbound and outbound orders, cycle counting and inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
Maintain a safe work environment while following all safety guidelines.
Load and unload delivery vehicles
Receive, inspect, and check accuracy of all delivered products.
Accurately and efficiently stock and consolidate products to correct location.
Accurately pick customer orders via handheld RF device.
Accurately and efficiently check and package customer orders for delivery.
Accurately and efficiently perform daily cycle counts.
Clean and maintain all work areas.
Meet or exceed all set performance standards for position(s).
Operates forklifts and other heavy machineries as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent education, required.
Power-equipment experience, preferred.
One year experience in Warehousing/Distribution, preferred.
RF experience, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of WMS and/or TMS systems.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job duties require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
Warehouse is fully climate controlled year-round.
No weekends required.
Part-Time/Flexible schedules also available.
All associates are required to pass a drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report.
