Responsibilities: The selected candidate will support the Society’s programs, education, and research activities at ASIL headquarters in Washington, DC. Duties may include day-of event support, assisting in publicizing events, preparing continuing legal education (CLE) documents for state approval, compiling diversity information from ASIL events, attending policy and informational meetings around DC, and providing a de-brief on these meetings. Specific duties will be assigned on request by the Deputy Executive Director or the communications coordinator.
Qualifications: Candidates should be undergraduate students who possess an interest in international affairs and public relations, ideally with an interest in the legal field; excellent written and verbal skills; a keen eye for detail, flexibility, and an eagerness to learn. Basic computer skills are required and familiarity with Google Apps is preferred.
