SUMMARY:
Responsible initiating and implementing business objectives and strategy for mid-term and annual plans, as director by their assigned Senior Product Manager, through management of their assigned product categories and assisting in the overall portfolio to include existing products, new product development, warranty reduction, and cost reduction with a primary focus on the end user experience and resolving their unmet needs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for executing and achieving key metrics in product portfolio including optimizing category profitability and margins
· Manages product roadmaps and assist and/or leads new product initiatives through the eyes of the end user’s unmet needs to create unique value - from initial discovery through product launch and results
· Life cycle management though maximizing existing product SKU productivity, ensuring profitability and rationalization
· Executes marketing strategies for product portfolio to support Home Center, Independent, , E-Commerce, Industrial and MRO channels

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years product management experience (marketing, product marketing, and/or technical background a plus)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
KHA conforms with the American Disabilities Act (ADA). Position requires up to 25% travel to residential and commercial construction jobsites, trade shows, and customers visits. Occasional work in warehouse conditions. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. The work environment is consistent with normal office conditions.
