Byrne & Jones Construction is one of the largest builders of athletic facilities in the Midwest - Turf fields, Running Tracks, and playing courts. By combining our in-house design team with certified track and field builders, we can help our clients build their dream facility.
We are looking for a Sports Construction Foreman to play an instrumental role in the growth and development of the company. This position requires travel to the Northern Illinois area initially and then will be based in the Madison/Milwaukee WI area.
Duties:
- Supervise construction sites to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications
- Allocate daily and general responsibilities
- Ensure workforce and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise and train crew members
- Resolve issues when they arise
Experience needed:
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman
- 2+ years’ experience of concrete foundation work
- Knowledge of construction management and construction site operations
- Proficiency with field layout using 2D laser levels and transit levels
- Proficiency in using construction management software
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage a team effectively
