Senior Financial Analyst (1802914) – Florham Park, NJ
We are seeking a professional like you to provide financial analysis and decision support to the North American Region. In this role, you will analyze data, identify and interpret trends and form recommendations for value-added actions to enhance growth and profitability of the region. You will then present findings to senior leaders from the regional controllers group, the Vice President of Controlling, and Executive team members, as appropriate.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, combined with your experience in Information Technology, you will analyze monthly actual, forecasted, and budgeted financial results for the region. In addition, you will analyze and interpret order trends and backlog development.
With your strong financial acumen, you will analyze critical commodities including engaging specialists to further interpret forecasts and their implications to the region and overall influence on company performance.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will support key regional and global initiatives, including but not limited to, corporate projects and the NA Scorecard.
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will analyze competitors’ financial results and benchmark them against internal performance. In addition, you will manage economic reporting, analysis, and interpretation for the US and North American region.
As a trusted advisor, support month-end reporting including the preparation of monthly financial reports, financial forecasting and planning process for North America.
Your strong financial skills will be a valued asset as you collect the necessary data to prepare both monthly and forward looking projections.
Your excellent computer skills and previous experience using systems such as Business Warehouse (BW), Programming logic and Applications (i.e. SAP - COPA, General Ledger, Cost Center, Job Order, Project Systems, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, OCEAN (Sales/P&L), SCI (Working Capital), Market Profit and COBUS) will be a valued asset as you work with programmers to facilitate logic/design of future applications and maintaining interface as necessary.
