Perform customer drop installations complete from tap to antenna terminals on customer equipment in single and multi-family dwellings including pre-wired units; perform installations within electrical codes and local ordinances to local system specifications.

Perform new connects, reconnects, pre-wires, additional outlets, change of service, install and remove converters and all cable related services as required by customer.
Educate customer on channel lineup and use of converter and services; inform customer of additional services they may not have subscribed to and the value of that service.
Must be able to proficiently perform HSD Installations in a timely manner.
Must be able to proficiently perform RF Installations in a timely manner.
Must be able to handle customer service issues related to installations.
Must keep assigned vehicle in a neat, stocked and organized manor.
Must be able to wire & connect customer edge devices, IE. VCR’s, Stereo’s, Home theater systems.
Must be able to demonstrate the use of residential products & services.
Must be able to collect customer deposits & fees in a secure manor.
Must maintain On-Time Guarantee awareness.
Perform RF troubleshooting back to the tap & understand return path functionality & troubleshooting techniques.
Must be able to accurately use & demonstrate proficient use of FSM, Signal Leakage & Reverse test eq.
Must be able to Install MDU buildings.
Must be able to complete commercial Installations.
Must be able to perform telephony installations, Cat3 & Cat5 wiring in a timely manner.
Must be able to Install, Wire, and troubleshoot MDU buildings.
Must be able to troubleshoot HSD & VoIP operations.
Must be able to perform any level of wall fishing.
Perform quality control checks of your completed installations.
Complete all reports as required.

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to speak the English language clearly, concisely, and to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines required
Must have basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
Adaptability and being able to work individually and in a team environment
Willing to travel
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR screen
Must be able to pass pre-employment background screen and drug test

  • Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, cleaning solutions
  • Work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night
  • Work performed near power lines and electricity
  • Work and travel in inclement weather
Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of the equipment
Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices
Ability to carry, climb, operate and work upon an extension ladder, (approximately 28 ft high and 80 pounds)
Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of the equipment
Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires
Ability to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with position
Ability to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofs in addition to an extension ladder)
Ability to use hand tools in the manner for which they were intended including electric drills, hammers, wrenches and screwdrivers
Ability to safely walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment including ladders and fully loaded tool belts
Ability to work while standing 75 to 90% of the time
Ability to work with small components and wire to make cable connections
