Marshall Hotels & Resorts, a premier management company responsible for performance in an eclectic group of branded and independent hotels throughout the United States, is seeking a qualified candidate as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources and some administrative functions at our corporate offices located at 1315 S. Division Street, Salisbury, Maryland. We are growing. This is a great opportunity to develop skills in the HR area to advance a career in the Human Resources field. Recent college graduates with an interest in Human Resources Management would be an ideal fit.

The Administrative Assistant responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts including postings jobs, conducting on-line searches, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews
  • Support the company’s benefits administration including processing enrollments, terminations, billing and maintenance of files
  • Support the fielding of associate relation calls from field associates
  • Assist in the on-going development/update of HR processes
  • Administrative support to the HR function including copying, filing and on-line entry of data for new hires and benefits
  • Support the administrative process for a property takeover for the HR functions
  • Provide ongoing support for HR projects
  • Support some administrative efforts of the office including greeting visitors, answering main operator calls, assist in the shipping/mailing packages and other administrative duties

  • Word and Excel experience required

  • Strong ability to communicate and provide information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multifaceted environment

  • Related education/experience preferred; a recent college graduate wanting to explore the HR field is an ideal candidate
