The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for the delivery, implementation and evaluation of talent development learning programs. Learning programs to be delivered include but are not limited to leadership and professional skills programs, as well as, train-the-trainer sessions to certify others to facilitate programs as needed. This role will coordinate the implementation and delivery planning for assigned programs to ensure effective program execution. The Specialist will also collaborate with the other talent development team members on the design and development of learning programs and support the sourcing of vendor led learning programs.
Delivers learning programs across organization to ensure leaders and team members have skills and knowledge to perform in their role.
Plans and implements training events, including but not limited to session scheduling, participant enrollment, and material preparation.
Prepares others to deliver learning programs by facilitating train-the-trainer sessions and serving as a subject matter expert and resource for facilitation and leadership development.
Collaborates with other talent development team members, providing delivery feedback, course updates, design input, recommendations, and continuous improvement for all professional and leadership development learning programs.
Creates an engaging learning experience in the classroom for visual, auditory and kinesthetic adult learners.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and offers design and development recommendations to instructional designers.

Demonstrated experience in partnering with all levels of leaders to translate business objectives into effective learning programs.
Program and project management experience.
Established successful project lead and project management experience.
Organization development and change management experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with emphasis in adult learning or education related discipline
