Roots Steakhouse located in Summit, New Jersey is part of Harvest Restaurant Group. We are seeking one well rounded Line Cook for a new and busy season at one of the hottest traditional Steakhouses in New Jersey. The person for this role is detail-oriented, proactive, plays well with others, and is passionate about cooking, cleaning and hospitality. These team members report to our Chefs de Cuisine and play a vital role in create memorable experiences for our guests.
compensation: $15 to $17 to start, commensurate with experience. Increases and position changes are reviewed on 30 and 90 day increments. Benefits also available after 90 days with an average of 30 hours per week. Many holidays off including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as entry into our various mentorship programs based on qualifications.
Passion for food and hospitality; culinary degree or certificate preferred but not required. Experience is just as important!
