Job Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for the management of the Execution within Logistics Operations, focusing on Customer Service Level keeping costs under control.
Lead collaborations with other Operations Functions: Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, etc.
Develop specific analysis related to inventory pre-built, safety stock levels, warehouse space constraints, transportation lanes bottlenecks, manufacturing line constraints, MRP processes, among others
Analyze structural problems, create and execute action plans to support customer service levels
Work with several cross-functional areas to implement the action plans related the topics above both in the immediate term and in the long term to avoid recurring issues
Map and define specific processes and interfaces for the ERP system’s integration. Improve current processes
Manage adherence to Global Playbooks and develop action plans for any routines that do not meet the requirements
Provide timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners to identify scenario planning opportunities.
Coach, motivate, and develop capabilities and execution team members to reach and maximize their full potential and overcome barriers.
Influence and communicate within multiple levels of the organization. Hold complete ownership of inventory and multiple logistics scorecard metrics.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar degree.
Ownership, strong ability to work cross-functionally, strong focus on results, pragmatism
Leadership skills
Strong people and process management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company.
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
Process design and implementation
+5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with multi-task experience.
Adept with computer software applications.
Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, Project.
Expertise with SAP - APO and ECC and Tableau
Experience with Lean Six Sigma and PDCA theory and implementation.
