Job Description:
Compose, proofread and finalize letters, memorandums, spreadsheets, graphs, reports and presentations as requested by the Director of Quality Assurance.
Provide administrative support for the Director of Quality Assurance to include; scheduling meetings and making necessary arrangements, preparing handouts and overheads for presentations, and referring telephone calls and visitors as requested.
Create MS PowerPoint presentations for use by management and facilitate webinars as needed.
Attend courses to remain current on new software and administrative techniques.
Maintain all LAB QA subject, plant, and regulatory files.
Process all professional membership renewals and registrations.
General typing, filing and scanning of LAB QA documents.
Typing LAB QA SOP’s, LAB Production SOP’s, LAB Sanitation SOP’s, and other required LAB documents as directed by the Director of QA.
Generate customer questionnaires and forward to the customer.
Assist in maintaining electronic files for customer requests.
Assist in replenishing office supplies as required.
Work directly with customers to provide assistance with written information.
Assist in typing and maintaining all LAB facility plant SOP Manuals.
Assist in creating, updating and maintaining LAB SDS forms as required.
Receive and distribute faxes for technical staff.
Type and update LAB product formulas and specifications when required by QA.
Assist with special projects for LAB QA Management as assigned.
Assist in planning QA luncheons and meetings as requested.
All other duties as assigned.

Excellent language skills for writing word documents and technical reports.
Dependability, organizational skills and the ability to work with little supervision.
Willingness to work with others and work as a team.
Ability to interpret data as it pertains to LAB Quality Assurance specifications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information when required.
Accuracy in filling out paperwork and entering data.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with LAB plant personnel, sales staff, customer service staff and other internal and external customers.
Highly organized (i.e. think ahead to the next day).
Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with corporate staff as well as clientele of LAB businesses.
Thorough working knowledge of computers and software packages such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of MAPICS is helpful.
Ability to proofread documents/reports with strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to operate all office equipment required to accomplish job duties such as computers, typewriters, fax machines, copy machines, and telephone systems.
Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activities.
Ability to work daily and overtime as needed.
Ability to provide assistance in other work related areas as required.
