Inventory Manager
Location: Tombstone Rips Headquarters - 9770 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas NV 89147
Type: Full-Time
Status: Exempt
The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing assigning, consigning, storage, transferring, tracking, counting, reconciling, and shrinking of all inventory and products. This person is responsible for coordinating and resolving issues regarding all inventory. This includes pricing discrepancies, vendor issues, timeliness of deliveries, shipment claims and an overall ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously. They will provide guidance regarding inventory and pricing through liquidation channels. This position reports to the President of Tombstone Rips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost, value and inventory reports
- Research market competitiveness to optimize purchasing and liquidation
- Ensure all product is assigned, transferred and received accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage system inventory levels to ensure accuracy amongst channels
- Work with eCommerce partners to resolve issues with products and product listings
- Oversee inventory control processes
- Work with vendors and partners to resolve customer issues
- Effectively communicate with internal customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Sort cards according to team, player, or pack or other attributes
- Support card breakers by identifying needs, keeping cards organized, and restocking supplies.
- Maintain focus, sort cards categorically, and maintain an accurate shipping log
- Possess basic knowledge of teams across major sports like MLB, NBA, and NFL, entertainment and understand cards/parallels.
- Manage and update listings to match available inventory
- Assist with outbound order processing and returns as needed
- File freight damage or shipment delay claims with carriers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of inventory or logistics is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills in general
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude
- Exerts professionalism in communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and company employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to describe products accurately and thoroughly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with live streaming equipment and software.
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- 2 years purchasing or inventory experience for retailer
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive motion tasks while doing computer work
- Must be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time
- Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and package sports cards carefully.
- Ability to manipulate small items with precision.
- Ability to read and interpret small print on cards and packaging.
- Ability to move around the workspace to access different products, tools, and shipping supplies.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, such as boxes of cards and shipping materials.
- Maintain good posture while sitting or standing to prevent fatigue and discomfort.
- Perform repetitive movements such as sorting cards and team bagging.
