Deltek is adding to its Large Market Government Contracting business unit a new Account Executive. This position will be focused on prospecting, networking, presenting Deltek's value propositions, negotiating pricing and closing sales for Deltek’s Integrated project based solutions which is sold to C-Level Executives and/or key stakeholders within organizations. This position will manage some named accounts in key verticals as well as focus on prospecting and closing net new clients.

Qualifications

Have a track record of exceeding quota more than 80% of your career with predictable performance
Achieved a multi-million dollar quota more than twice at the same company
Have minimum 5 years field sales experience in enterprise software companies, preferably Financial applications, ERP, Application Lifecycle Development, Product Lifecycle Management, or Project Management solutions
Have a college degree and experience with Salesforce.com
Able to quickly analyze and identify likely account targets in your territory
Have made Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling work for you
Have a history of closing million dollar transactions with C-Level customers
Have a reputation for high integrity and impeccable business ethics
Driven to succeed with a sense of urgency and enduring energy in a team-oriented environment
Willing to travel up to 30% of your time
Committed to winning and being #1 among your peers
Experience working with government contractors in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, IT Consulting, Healthcare a plus
