  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, retaining, promoting, discipling, and terminating employees with concurrence of Program Administrator.
  • Perform pre-employment screening: Background checks, drug screens, etc.
  • Verify employment, education, and licensure
  • conduct new hire orientation process
  • coordinate training sessions and seminars for staff
  • Produce and submit report on general human resource activity
  • Assist orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Assist in collection of employee feedback
  • Prepare and recommend to supervisor any extraordinary personnel management issues or actions (i.e. extended leave, promotion, etc.)
  • Receive all calls regarding employees
  • File staff/employee records accordingly
  • Assist staff in completely and accurately completing all employment forms
  • Track, trend, and graph CARF indicators
  • Ensure that pre-organized consultant/employee charts are readily available
  • Back up computer weekly
  • Attend weekly staff meeting(s)
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Complete annual training as it relates to job description
  • Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by GBH
  • Any other duties assigned


  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year experience in human resources/administrative position


  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to use MS Office
  • Proactive and solution oriented
  • Familiarity with clinical and administrative functions of GBH
  • Willingness to learn quickly about laws and regulations relating to labor and privacy of health information
  • High integrity
  • Ability to multi task and work in high pressure environment.
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Work well with members, their families, and other personnel
