RTL Delivery LC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages to their customers. Delivery Driver Associates strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time and with a smile. We are looking for people who are reliable, quick, and ready to work.
We are a locally owned and operated business with highly involved owners, delivering Amazon packages in the North LIberty/Coralville/ Iowa City/as well as out East toward Davenport and South in Muscatine down to Mt. Pleasant areas. We are a growing, team-oriented work family looking for hard working people searching for that next step up.
Training is provided and previous driver experience is not required. We're looking for a positive attitude with a willingness to work and be adaptable. Everyone is encouraged to apply and we will have plenty of opportunity for you to grow with us!
Company Vehicle Provided! No CDL Required!
We deliver in all types of weather and 361 days a year.
*This job reports at 9:15 am to the Amazon Delivery Station in Iowa City for the start of the day!
Baseline Qualifications & Requirements for Delivery Driver:
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 21 years of age
- Familiar and able to operate smart phone and GPS technology without aide
- Able to lift packages and bundles weighing up to 50 lbs multiple times during a route
- Able to climb stairs on a regular basis
- Submit to motor vehicle records check and drug screening
Our typical daily standard route consists of the following:
- Packages hand loaded and delivered to 130 - 200 stops
- 20 - 40 flights of stairs throughout apartment complexes or commercial buildings navigated
- 2 - 5 total miles of walking including loadout activities and delivering throughout the day
- In and out of our van 100s of times throughout the day
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times
- Use hand-held device for routing information and customer delivery information
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
- Load and unload packages to be delivered
- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers
- Perform the above tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
